Arbaaz Khan shares how his life is post divorce
Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora, who was once Bollywood's perfect couple, shocked fans when they got divorced in 2017. The couple had called off their 19-year-long marriage and left everyone speculating about the reason behind their separation. While Malaika recently shared about their divorce, Arbaaz had kept silent. Now, the Dabangg director has also opened up, and talked about his life after the divorce.
'Whether you forget or forgive, you haveto move on'
Dealing with divorce isn't easy. However, this phase is over for Arbaaz, and he has moved on in his life. Recalling the painful days, he stated that there were days when he used to be worried, but he decided to forgive and forget. "Whether you forget or forgive, whatever scenario you may choose, you've to move on. Choose whatever works for you," he said.
'We were two people making each other extremely unhappy'
To recall, Malaika opened up on her divorce recently, and revealed the reason behind their separation. The actor-model stated that she was in an unhappy marriage with Arbaaz. "It was better off that we moved our separate ways. Because we were two people in a situation making each other extremely unhappy, which was impacting everybody else's life around us," she was quoted saying.
After divorce, there's no bad blood between Arbaaz and Malaika
Meanwhile, after divorce, Malaika and Arbaaz, have no bad blood between them, and they continue to share a friendly equation with one another. Their 16-year-old son Arhaan stays with Malaika. Arbaaz has visitation rights of his son, as per the settlement reached in a court.
'I'm a hands-on father and Arhaan is a wonderful boy'
Talking about his equation with Arhaan, Arbaaz stated that the two are always in contact and often spend time with each other. "I spend a lot of time with my kid and cater to all the responsibilities. He is not staying with me right now because his mother has custody. I'm a very hands-on father and he is a wonderful boy," he added.
Unhesitatingly admit that Giorgia is there in my life: Arbaaz
Meanwhile, Arbaaz has found love in Giorgia Andriani, and although there are speculations about their wedding, the former said that for now it is in the dating phase. "I unhesitatingly admit that Giorgia is there in my life at this time. Somebody who I have at this time in my life is a friend, who I am also dating," he confessed.
Giorgia encourages Arbaaz to 'remain positive' when he is down
Furthermore, Arbaaz stated that Giorgia brought a positive impact in his life, and has encouraged him to move on. "When you are living alone then you tend to take life casually. You can either change for the better or probably for the worst. Fortunately, I was not in that mindset and my partner encourages me to remain positive," he was quoted saying.
