Acclaimed music composer AR Rahman is reportedly charging a whopping amount for his work on the upcoming sports drama, tentatively titled RC16.
The film stars Telugu actor Ram Charan and is his first collaboration with director Buchi Babu Sana.
A recent report by 123Telugu suggests that Rahman's remuneration for this project is around ₹8cr.
However, there's been no official confirmation on this so far.

'RC16' to feature Janhvi Kapoor and Divyenndu
RC16 promises to be a high-budget sports drama, with Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead opposite Charan.
The movie will also see actor Divyenndu.
The story might revolve around cricket, as hinted by a behind-the-scenes glimpse shared by the Director of Photography for the project.

For his part in RC16, Charan has trained extensively to achieve a well-built physique. This preparation is expected to present the actor in a new avatar.
After this project, Charan will team up with his Rangasthalam director Sukumar once again for another venture titled RC17.

Rahman, meanwhile, recently composed music for Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava.
