Saira thanked Rahman, sound designer Resul Pookutty, his wife Shadia, and Vandana Shah for their constant support in this trying time.
Notably, the decision to part ways was taken due to immense emotional strain in their relationship.

Rahman faced social media backlash post-separation announcement
After Rahman and Saira announced their separation, the Oscar-winning music composer was criticized on social media for using the "#arrsairaabreakup" hashtag.
"This decision comes after significant emotional strain in their relationship...the couple has found that the tensions and difficulties have created an insurmountable gap between them," a statement read.
While many netizens supported Rahman, others felt the use of the hashtag was uncalled for.
The couple has three children—daughters Khatija and Raheema, and son Ameen.
