Director AR Murugadoss has confirmed that his upcoming film Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, isn't a remake or adaptation.
This comes after rumors suggested that the film is a remake of Vijay's Sarkar, also helmed by Murugadoss.
The upcoming project, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, will be released on Eid.
Director's statement
Murugadoss emphasized film's originality
Murugadoss said, "This is a completely original story. Every scene, every frame of Sikandar has been designed and executed with authenticity, offering a fresh narrative and experience."
He added, "It's not a remake or adaptation of any existing film."
