Anushka Sharma turns police officer for an ad shoot
Anushka Sharma, who never fails to impress audiences with her versatile roles both in movies and commercials, is all set to surprise her fans yet again. Reportedly, she will be playing a cop in an advertisement. This is the first time that Anushka will be donning the uniform. And guess what, we have got our hands on her look from the ad.

"Anushka dons the cop's uniform and raids the house of a suspect in this ad. It is a hilarious concept and her comic timing is spot on. It is a fun, quirky ad that will leave you in splits," a source was quoted as saying.
The actress is on a break from films post 'Zero'
Notably, Anushka has been missing from the big screen for a while now. The actress was last seen in 2018 release Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan, which turned out to be a disaster. Post this, Anushka decided to take some time off from the big screen. Calling it a conscious decision, she said that she "was feeling too worked up" after doing back-to-back films.
Has Anushka been approached for 'Satte Pe Satta' remake?
However, there are reports that Anushka has been approached for several projects including the much-talked-about remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini starrer Satte Pe Satta. Reportedly, the Jab Harry Met Sejal actress may fill in Hema's shoes in the remake. The reports also suggested that Hrithik Roshan has been finalized for Big B's dual role of Ravi Anand/Babu in the remake.
She's still pondering over the idea of doing the movie
Meanwhile, according to a Pinkvilla report, the discussions between Anushka and the makers are still at a rather initial stage. In fact, the 31-year-old actress is pondering over the idea to be a part of the project. Interestingly, Anushka is not the first actress to be thought of for the remake. Earlier, Deepika Padukone was also, reportedly, approached for the role.
