Anushka, who was last seen in Zero (2018), hasn't signed any project and has taken time-off from the big screen. Calling it a "conscious decision", she said that she "was feeling too worked up" after doing back-to-back films. "I need to take some time-off before putting myself in next project. I don't want to sign films just for the heck of it," she stated.
Has Anushka been approached for 'Satte Pe Satta' remake?
However, there are reports that Anushka is currently in talks for several projects, including the much talked-about remake of Amitabh Bachchan-Hema Malini starrer Satte Pe Satta. Besides, she is said to be working on a web series for Amazon, which will be based on Tarun Tejpal's book, The Story of My Assassins. However, no official announcement has been made yet.
