What's the story
Being staunch supporters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are in no mood to take any nonsense towards the environment. Upon seeing a fellow commuter throwing plastic garbage on the road, Anushka gave him a piece of her mind, while Virat recorded everything and uploaded it on social media with a strongly-worded caption.

In the video that Virat shared, Anushka can be seen pulling up the man as she says, "Why are you throwing garbage on the road? Why are you throwing plastic on the road? Please be careful, you can't just throw plastic on the streets, use a dustbin." The man, however, still seemed unapologetic for his actions.

However, Twitter wasn't much impressed
Anushka's act did not go down well with many Twitter users for some illogical reasons and they started trolling her. Infuriated by the comments, Virat then gave a befitting reply to the haters. He wrote, "Lot of people who don't have the courage to do something like this find it funny. Everything for people nowadays is meme content. Shame."
