The source revealed that Dandekar started shooting for the Hunter sequel two days ago. She also confirmed her involvement in the project through her Instagram Stories, where she shared a still of the show's clapboard. The source disclosed that other popular faces like Shehnaaz Gill, Surbhi Chandna, Elnaz Narozi, and Isabelle Kaif were considered for the role before the makers finalized Dandekar.
Himanshu Malhotra replaced by Pramod Pathak in 'Hunter' sequel
In addition to the change in female lead, the Hunter sequel will also see a replacement in its male lead. Himanshu Malhotra, who was initially cast for the show, has been replaced by Pramod Pathak, known for his role in the crime thriller series Mirzapur. The first season of Hunter: Tootega Nahi Todega featured Karanveer Sharma, Barkha Bisht, and Esha Deol among its cast.
