Media banned from 'Anupamaa' sets: Is major cast change coming
The popular Star Plus show Anupamaa continues to make headlines daily! Per the latest reports, the show's makers have imposed a temporary media ban on the set recently. This decision comes amid speculations about the future storyline following actor Sudhanshu Pandey's departure from the series. The team is currently filming a crucial sequence and aims to keep upcoming plot developments under wraps, reported Telly Chakkar.
'Anupamaa' actors sign NDA amid plot secrecy
In addition to the media ban, actors on the show have been asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This move is seen as an effort by the makers to maintain secrecy around a significant twist that could potentially involve Vanraj Shah's character. To recall, Pandey, who portrayed Shah, Anupamaa's (Rupali Ganguly) ex-husband, recently announced his exit on social media.
Pandey's exit led to plot shift in 'Anupamaa'
Following Pandey's departure, the narrative of Anupamaa has seen a significant shift. The plot now revolves around Toshu (Aashish Mehrotra) assuming control of the Shah house after Vanraj's "mysterious disappearance." Meanwhile, Anupamaa (Ganguly) is determined to uncover the truth behind his sudden absence and bring him back home. This storyline change has fueled speculations about what lies ahead for the characters and their relationships.
Pandey's exit from 'Anupamaa' was a personal decision
Meanwhile, Pandey, in a recent interview, stated, "As an actor, I did not have much left and I felt it was time to move on." Earlier, there were reports that actor Pankit Thakker might step into the shoes of Vanraj. However, Thakker has since refuted these claims. He told Telly Chakkar, "I have not been approached...and even if I was approached for it, I would not have taken it up as Sudhanshu is a dear friend."
