IIFA Lifetime Achievement Award-2018 to be awarded to Anupam Kher
Veteran actor Anupam Kher will be awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement honor at the upcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards ceremony in Bangkok. The 63-year-old versatile actor has worked in over 500 films with projects both in India and abroad. "Thank you IIFA for acknowledging my achievements in Cinema. I am privileged to be a part of our film industry," Kher said.
Kher desires to perform for 34 more years
The Padma Bhushan awardee said at a time when actors his age are offered the Lifetime Achievement Award, he prefers to perform for another 34 years exploring new and exciting opportunities. "With every such award comes a sense of responsibility which I promise to be committed to," he added. Kher will be presented with the honor on June 24 at the 19th IIFA edition.
