Noted bhajan singer Anup Jalota's mother dies at 85
Renowned bhajan singer Anup Jalota's mother Kamla Jalota passed away today morning in Mumbai. She was 85. According to media reports, she was admitted to city-based Hinduja Hospital, where she breathed her last. Reportedly, the cause of her death has not been specifically told. Unfortunately, in November 2014, Anup had lost his wife Medha due to multiple organ failure.
Anup, Jasleen's affair had made heads turn on 'BB12'
To note, Anup grabbed headlines in 2018, after he participated in Bigg Boss 12 with rumored girlfriend Jasleen Matharu. Their sensational affair became that season's USP. However, soon after his exit, Anup called it a mere publicity gimmick. In fact, when his mother questioned him about Jasleen, he had replied, "I told her that she's a ghost and there was nothing of that sort."

"Post my Bigg Boss exit, I went straight to visit my mom, who's 85 years old. The first thing she asked me is who is Jasleen. I told her that she is a ghost and there was nothing of that sort," Anup was quoted saying.
