At the Grammy Awards, Shankar looked stunning in a custom Dior outfit styled by Nikhil Mansata. She took to Instagram to post pictures of her gorgeous yellow gown, writing how excited she was for the event.
Speaking to Variety, she reflected on how Indian musicians are gaining more influence around the world: "It very much felt like we were operating in a vacuum before... Whereas now there's such a shift and there's so much more South Asian presence and visibility."
