Anoushka Shankar set to present at Grammys 2025
What's the story
Anoushka Shankar, the acclaimed British-American sitar maestro and daughter of legendary musician Ravi Shankar, has been asked to serve as the presenter at the 67th Grammy Awards.
The event, hosted by Trevor Noah for the fifth consecutive time, will be broadcast in India from 6:30am to 10:00am on Monday (February 3).
This announcement comes as she celebrates a career milestone with her 10th and 11th Grammy nominations.

Apart from hosting, Shankar has also been nominated for Grammys for two of her albums, Chapter II: How Dark It is Before Dawn and A Rock Somewhere.
She recently dropped a new single Hiraeth from her upcoming album Chapter III - We Return To Light.
Moving ahead, Shankar is set to take her international influence further with a US tour in March, followed by an India tour in December.

Expressing her excitement for the upcoming event, Shankar wrote on Instagram, "Eeeeeeee I have news! What a thrill to be asked to serve as a presenter at the 67th #GRAMMYPremiere Ceremony this Sunday!, (sic)."
She also reminisced about presenting at the ceremony in 2016 when she was nominated for her fifth Grammy for Home.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Grammy Awards will also raise funds for LA wildfire relief efforts.
