    What's the story

Anjini Dhawan, who made her acting debut with Binny And Family last year, has confirmed her participation in Salman Khan's upcoming film Sikandar.

The announcement comes after much speculation about her involvement in the project.

"Now the teaser's out, I can finally talk about it," the 24-year-old niece of actor Varun Dhawan told Hindustan Times.

    Gratitude expressed

Dhawan expressed gratitude for 'Sikandar' opportunity

Dhawan also shared her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to work with Khan. She described her time on set as a series of "pinch-me" moments.

She said, "I could not be more grateful and thankful. Every time I enter the film's set, I have to pinch myself and ask, is this real life or am I dreaming? Every single day is a pinch-me moment."

    Admiration shared

'I have grown up being his biggest fan'

The actor and model revealed her long-standing admiration for Khan and his films. She emphasized the works he has done with her great uncle, filmmaker David Dhawan, like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004) and Partner (2007).

"I have grown up being his biggest fan... So, working with him is literally like living a dream," she said.

Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as the female lead in Khan's Eid release.
