Sikandar is a big deal as it marks the first-ever collaboration between Khan and renowned director AR Murugadoss. The film, which is an action entertainer, also features Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty, Sathyaraj, and Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles. The shooting for Sikandar commenced in Mumbai in June.
