'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' coming to an end? Anita Hassanandani reveals
Star Plus' show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been among the top favorites since its inception. The show has been entertaining the audience for over five years now, and has dominated the TRP charts for long. But now it is reported that the makers are planning to pull down the show in April. However, actress Anita Hassanandani is clueless about YHM coming to an end.
All good things come to an end, says Anita
As the reports of YHM's ending are rife, Anita, who plays the role of Shagun on the show, stated that "all good things come to an end." She maintained that she isn't aware of any such development. However, if the reports are true, she is grateful to be a part of YHM, she said. "I truly feel it's been a brilliant run," Anita added.
Not just Anita, Divyanka is also unaware of this development
Meanwhile, Divyanka Tripathi, who plays the lead role of Dr. Ishita Raman Kumar Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, is also unaware about the show being pulled down. While talking to Spotboye, Divyanka stated, "They haven't announced anything officially to the actors at least".
Is low TRP the reason for 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' end?
Reportedly, the YHM makers took the big decision after the show started struggling for TRP ratings for a while. "This very long-running series had been under-performing for a while now. And now with Star engaged in a neck to neck fight with Colors, the channel is getting strict with numbers. Hence, they have decided to pull the plug off," a source was quoted saying.
'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' to return with a spin-off?
Reportedly, the show will be pulled down next month. Undoubtedly, YHM fans are disheartened with the news. Much to their relief, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will be returning with an interesting spin-off. "The show may go off air by next month. However, no official announcement has been made yet. But, we will come with a spin-off titled Yeh Hai Chaahatein," a source told Spotboye.
