While he may look fit, Anil has been in deep pain for weeks now. He recently revealed about suffering from calcification of shoulder. Here's more about it.
Anil to fly to Germany for treatment
Talking about his ailment, Anil revealed that the stunts in the movies took a toll on his body. As a result, he suffered calcification on his right shoulder. "I've suffered one or two tears and a bit of calcification on my right shoulder. So, I've taken an appointment in April with Dr. Muller-Wohlfahrt," he said. Notably, Dr. Muller is a celebrity sports doctor.
What is calcification of shoulder?
Calcific tendonitis or calcification of the shoulder occurs when calcium deposits on the muscles or tendons of the shoulder. This is one of the common causes of shoulder pain as the tissues around the calcium deposits can become inflamed causing extreme pain.
Dr Muller, Germany's celebrity sports doctor, is Anil's biggest savior
This isn't the first time Anil would be visiting Dr. Muller for treatment. He had earlier cured Anil's tendonitis as well. In fact, Dr. Muller had helped the actor get rid of his ankle pain too. "I had stopped sprinting altogether because of my weak ankle. [But after the treatment], I have gone back to sprinting after 15 years." Anil told Mid Day.

Meanwhile, Anil is busy promoting his upcoming movie Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. Helmed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, the movie also stars Sonam Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the pivotal roles. Interestingly, this will be the first time Anil will be sharing the screen space with Sonam and we can't wait to see the father-daughter duo's amazing chemistry on the big screen.
