Celebrations for Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding is not limited to their homes only as even Anil Kapoor's wax statue is all geared up for the big day. Keeping in sync with the mood, Madame Tussauds' Delhi museum has given a makeover to Anil's statue. Sonam and Anand will tie the knot on May 8.

It will be a big fat Indian wedding
The wedding invites, that have been doing the rounds of the Internet, divulge the details about the functions leading up to the ceremony. Sonam's Mehendi will take place on May 7 at her plush pad in Bandra Kurla Complex. The dress code for it is 'Indian Festive - Shades of White'. The wedding ceremony will take place the following morning at Sonam's aunt's bungalow.
Sonam and Anand never acknowledged their relationship in public
Over the years, Sonam and Anand were often spotted together at events and family gatherings but never accepted their relationship in public. Speculations regarding their wedding were doing the rounds for months until their families released a statement and confirmed the same. As per reports, it will a traditional Indian wedding and will include Mehendi and Sangeet functions as well.

"The Kapoor and Ahuja families take great joy and pride in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request for privacy," the statement read.
