'Fanney Khan' will see Kapoor in the role of an orchestra singer, who worships Rafi and Shammi Kapoor as his idols.

Staying true to the original essence of the retro classic, 'Badan pe sitare', Amit Trivedi has re-imagined the track in Sonu Nigam's voice.
Directed by Atul Manjrekar, 'Fanney Khan' revolves around a father who wishes to fulfill his daughter's dream of becoming a star performer as she battles fat shaming.
It also features Rajkummar Rao, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Pihu Sand, and Divya Dutta.
