Angelina claims she has proof of domestic violence by Brad
In a shocking new court filing, actress Angelina Jolie has offered to furnish proof to substantiate domestic violence allegations against her ex-husband, actor Brad Pitt. The fresh filing, obtained by The Blast, was submitted last week on Friday in which Jolie asserted she was willing to reveal her alleged plight. The couple had separated in September 2016 after just two years of marriage.
Their children could give a testimony as well
In the bitter legal battle, the kids of the former couple could also be involved. They have six children — 19-year-old Maddox, Pax who is 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. All of them could speak up in court in the divorce hearings. Both Pitt and Jolie will have to give consent to involve the three minor children.
They met on the sets of 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith'
Jolie and Pitt had met on the sets of Mr. & Mrs. Smith back in 2004 when he was still married to actress Jennifer Aniston. Meanwhile, Jolie had been married twice earlier — she had tied the knot with Jonny Lee Miller in 1996 and with Billy Bob Thornton in 2000. After parting ways in 2016, Jolie and Pitt were declared legally single in April 2019.
Pitt was accused of child abuse; charges were cleared eventually
After their separation in 2016, Pitt came under a formal investigation for an alleged child abuse incident with their then-minor son Maddox, while aboard a private jet. The case was investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. Eventually, the 57-year-old superstar was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing.
Past few years have been pretty hard: Jolie
Jolie recently gave an interview, as a part of British Vogue's March 2021 cover story, in which she reflected on the last few years. "The past few years have been pretty hard. It's slowly coming back, like the ice melting and the blood returning to my body," she said. Jolie feels that she is going to hit her stride in her fifties.
