'Andhadhun' set to cross Rs. 300cr at China's box office
Months after its release, Sriram Raghavan's black comedy crime thriller Andhadhun continues to soar. Regarded as one of the best Bollywood films of 2018, the Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu starrer grossed Rs. 280.70 cr ($40.43 million) till Saturday to become the fourth highest grossing Bollywood film in China. 'Andhadhun' colleced over Rs. 100cr in first week in China
Andhadhun, which released in China earlier this month, had collected over Rs. 100cr within the first week. It is expected to surpass Shazam (Rs. 298cr), released in the same week, the lifetime business of Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs. 295cr) and hopefully cross the Rs. 300cr mark soon. In India, Andhadhun surpassed PadMan and Raazi to become the ninth highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2018.

Khurrana 'thrilled' with the fabulous response
Khurrana told PTI, "I'm thrilled with the fabulous response that 'Andhadhun' has received first in India and now in China. Doing Rs. 200cr in the neighboring nation bolsters my belief that universal stories will always have a bigger reach." Meanwhile, Viacom 18 COO Ajit Andhare said, "We are doing everything with our partners Tang Media to ensure it continues to score at Chinese box office."
