British actor Amy Tara to star in American thriller 'Dream'
British actor Amy Tara, who previously appeared in the stage play Indigo Giant, has secured the lead role in the upcoming American mystery-thriller titled Dream, reported Variety. The forthcoming film is the brainchild of Ben Pauling, who has taken on both writing and directing responsibilities. Joining him is co-director Sam Pauling, who will also be contributing to the directorial duties for this Hollywood project.
'Dream' revolves around a group of friends
Per reports, Dream revolves around a group of friends investigating a suspected trafficking operation in their hometown. The film is being funded by ArchAge Pictures, with Jon Pauling, Micheal Flaherty of Walden Media, Brian Rogers from Legendary's Godzilla series, and Samuel Rodriguez serving as executive producers. Alongside Tara, the cast includes Pauling himself, Steven Cox from The Thinning, Christopher Ammanuel of Black Lightning, and Cameron Hanes.
Tara is driven by a desire to narrate impactful stories
In addition to Dream, Tara is set to appear in Stuart Brennan's action-fantasy film Assassin's Guild, alongside Ryan Gage (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) and David Hayman (The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas). Meanwhile, Tara is driven by a desire to narrate impactful stories and represent marginalized communities, and reportedly stated, "I believe that as an actor, it's my responsibility to tell stories that reflect the world we live in."
