Ammy Virk, Sonam Bajwa unveil dual-titled Punjabi-Haryanvi film posters
The popular Punjabi cinema pair, Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa have released the first look posters of their upcoming cross-culture film, Kudi Haryane Val Di. The Punjabi-Haryanvi movie is scheduled for a worldwide release on June 14. Interestingly, the film also carries a Haryanvi title, Chori Haryane Aali, breaking new ground in the Punjabi industry This innovative approach aims to provide equal representation to both Punjabi and Haryanvi cultures and languages.
Bajwa, Virk embrace new roles in 'Kudi Haryane Val Di'
In a first for her career, Bajwa will portray a Jaatni (daughter of the Jat tribe), speaking Haryanvi throughout the film. Meanwhile, Virk will play a traditional Jatt character, using the Punjabi language exclusively. The storyline is a mix of comedy and romance set against the backdrop of wrestling and sports. This unique narrative aims to represent the rich Jatt & Jaat cultures of India through an ensemble cast from Punjab and Haryana.
Star-studded cast and crew behind 'Kudi Haryane Val Di'
The film features a star-studded cast including Haryanvi superstar Ajay Hooda, acclaimed actors Yashpal Sharma, Yograj Singh, Hardeep Gill, Seema Kaushal, Honey Mattu, and Deedar Gill. The first look posters suggest an entertaining film. Kudi Haryane Val Di is written and directed by Rakesh Dhawan of Honsla Rakh, Chal Mera Putt series fame. Producers Pawan Gill, Aman Gill, and Sunny Gill are bringing the film to life under their banner Ramara Films.
