Amitabh Bachchan has proved to be the ultimate supporter of feminism and women empowerment. He has recently revealed that his property will be divided equally between his son, Abhishek, and daughter, Shweta Nanda. This goes against the usual social norm, where daughters don't inherit their parental wealth, as after marriage, she is considered to be a part of her husband's family's lineage.
This isn't the first time he has made this announcement
Further pushing the cause of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign as its ambassador, Bachchan has reiterated that his son alone will not have the full authority to his property. The 76-year-old, upon being asked about his will, said both his children will get equal share of his wealth. Notably, this is not the first time he has made this remarkable decision.

Recently he touched the feet of social activist Sindhutai, a guest at the show, despite being older to her.

Meanwhile, apart from KBC, Bachchan is gearing up for his two big releases this year: Surender Reddy's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy with South superstar Chiranjeevi and Nagraj Manjule's Jhund. Besides, he is working on Ayan Mukerji's much-anticipated fantasy drama, Brahmastra, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt.
