Amitabh Bachchan begins shooting for 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 11'
After entertaining the audience for almost two decades, Amitabh Bachchan is all set to return with the eleventh season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. According to media reports, the veteran actor has begun shooting for the popular knowledge-based reality show. Amitabh, who is elated to host KBC 11, recently shared his excitement on his blog while preparing for the show. Here's what he said.
Amitabh is learning new systems'for 'KBC 11'
In his blog, Amitabh shared how he has been preparing for the new season of his show and his excitement was contagious. "So prep for KBC starts .. and here we are running into introductions, systems, learning new inputs, rehearsing, getting ready for another year," he wrote. He also got nostalgic about the show and said its audience gave the lifeline to KBC.
'KBC' was launched in 2000; SRK hosted the third season
Kaun Banega Crorepati was launched in 2000 and was an instant hit among the audience. The second season came after a gap of four years. For the third season, Star TV recruited Shahrukh Khan as the host, but the ratings dropped significantly, forcing Amitabh's return.
'KBC10' received 31 million registrations within 15 days of launch
The tenth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, unsurprisingly, garnered immense popularity among the audience. The show was launched with finite episodes, and it managed to rule the TRP charts throughout its run on the small screen. In fact, the show created history in the last season after it received record-breaking registrations of around 31 million within 15 days of its launch in August.
For now, Amitabh is gearing up for 'Brahmastra' release
On the work front, Amitabh was last seen in Badla, along with Taapsee Pannu. The movie witnessed rave reviews from the audience and critics alike. Besides, the senior actor is also working on Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy in the lead. Interestingly, it will be his first collaboration with Ranbir-Alia and he's all praises for the team.
