Amitabh Bachchan faces wrath of Mumbai rains, bungalow Pratiksha inundated
As heavy rains continue to affect Mumbai, megastar Amitabh Bachchan seems to be facing its wrath as well. According to media reports, the roads surrounding Big B's bungalow Pratiksha has been flooded with rainwater. Given the continuous downpour the city is facing, the water has reportedly found its way to the bungalow premises, creating inconvenience in walking in and out of the house.
Big B's Janak was also flooded with rainwater in July
To note, this is the second time this year that Amitabh's house got inundated due to monsoons. Earlier, in July, his other bungalow Janak (which the senior actor uses as an office) also got submerged in rainwater. In fact, several videos surfaced on social media wherein BMC workers could be seen making efforts to drain out the water from the bungalow compound.

Pratiksha is prone to monsoon's adverse effects due to location
On the other hand, Big B's Pratiksha has also been a frequent victim of the rainwater. Reportedly, it is more prone to face adverse effects of the heavy rains in the city, given its location, as it is close to the sea.
"Mini waves drift in from the road into the driveway"
In 2009, when the mansion was inundated, he wrote in his blog, "The road outside is in waist-deep water and the lawn, even though it is built on a rise, has been filled up and threatening to push the rain into the house." "Mini waves drift in from the road into the driveway and reach the first step into the house," Amitabh had narrated.
For now, he's looking forward to his two big releases
Meanwhile, on the work front, Big B is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 11. He is also gearing up for his two big releases this year: Surender Reddy's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy with South superstar Chiranjeevi in lead and Nagraj Manjule's Jhund. Besides, he is working on Ayan Mukerji's, Brahmastra and will also share the screen with Ayushmann Khurrana in Gulabo Sitabo.
