Amitabh Bachchan pays tribute to Shashi Kapoor

Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor's passing away brought the whole film industry to a standstill.
Celebrities from all the generations have taken to their Twitter accounts to remember the iconic actor that Shashi Kapoor was.
In the list of mourners, his co-star and friend Amitabh Bachchan too penned down an emotional letter for Shashi, after paying his last respects.

Amitabh begins his post by referring to a magazine cover just before his Bollywood debut. He writes, on seeing a "terribly handsome man" like Shashi, he thought he had no chance in the industry.
He then elaborated their journey together and how he took inspiration from him at every step.
Bachchan wrote that he didn't have the courage to see Shashi in a poor-state.
