'Shoebite': Amitabh Bachchan pleads with producers to release the film
What's the story
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is disheartened by the fact that his film 'Shoebite' has not been able to release till yet.
Directed by ace filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, the film has not seen the light of day pertaining to a legal tussle between the producers.
'Shoebite' was Sircar's second directorial venture after 'Yahaan'.
Big B and Sircar later collaborated on 'Piku' and 'Pink'.

Details
"Ready to sell my home and pay producers," says Sircar
Also desperate for 'Shoebite' to hit the theatres, the director told a leading daily, "I am also ready to sell my home and pay them to release the film, purely for Mr. Bachchan, my crew and technicians."
The film narrates the story of an old man played by Amitabh Bachchan who sets out on a journey of self-discovery.
