Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina to come together for Vikas Bahl's next

Katrina Kaif, who currently awaits the release of her upcoming movie Sooryavanshi, is set to star in a slice-of-life comedy film directed by Vikas Bahl. The movie will also likely feature Amitabh Bachchan, and the two will be seen playing a father-daughter duo. Here's more.
The movie is tentatively titled 'Deadly'
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the story of the movie, tentatively titled Deadly, revolves around a funeral. It traces the protagonist's journey of self-discovery with pinches of humor infused throughout. The makers are also keen on roping in Amitabh for the father's role. And while the veteran actor is interested in the role, he has not given an official confirmation yet.
The filming will start after the coronavirus scare settles down
The movie is expected to go on floors this May, but nothing is concrete till now. Due to the ongoing pandemic, all major Bollywood productions remain stalled and the movie business is in a limbo. "Following the coronavirus scare across the world, the makers are waiting for things to settle down before heading for a recce," a source told the publication.
However, not everyone is happy about the new movie
While the update brings excitement to a lot of fans, not everyone is happy about it. After the reports surfaced, a section of users on Twitter called out Amitabh and Katrina for working with Bahl, who has been accused of sexual harassment in the past. However, the filmmaker was given a clean-chit last year, by the internal complaints committee of Reliance Entertainment.
