Shows and movies to watch on Amazon Prime in June
Your binge-watching schedule for June is all set because Amazon Prime Video is here with some amazing new content. The upcoming month brings with it promising original series and acclaimed movies you might have missed in theaters. We know that it can be difficult to choose what to watch. So, here is the list of awesome shoes and movies to watch in June 2019.
Amazon Original series: 'Tokyo Alice', 'Absentia', 'Creative Galaxy' and 'Documental'
Documental, a comedy series that pits ten comedians against each other and the one who doesn't laugh wins, returns with its third season. Absentia, a thriller about a serial killer and a disappeared FBI agent returns with its second season. There is a new slice of life anime series named Tokyo Alice on the cards and the kids' show Creative Galaxy returns as well.
Amazon Original movies: 'Chasing Happiness' and 'Yardie'
Only two original movies release on Prime in June. First is Chasing Happiness, a film about the lives of Jonas Brothers, their early days of struggle and rise to stardom. The second one is Yardie, Idris Elba's directorial debut, based on a novel by Victor Headley. If you like artistic violence, you could definitely check out Nicolas Winding Refn's Too Old to Die Young.
June brings an impressive comedy collection with it
June comedy releases on Amazon include veteran comedian Leslie Nielsen's Airplane and its sequel, Kate McKinnon's The Spy Who Dumped Me, and the popular Rush Hour series. Other notable releases include Jackass 3D, No Strings Attached, Good Luck Chuck, Juliet, Naked, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, The First Wives Club, The Rules of Attraction, and Stranger Than Fiction.
