Allu Arjun is an Indian actor predominantly belonging to the Telugu film industry. Born on April 8, 1983, he is amongst the highest-paid actors in the film industry. His father is film producer Allu Aravind. He is the grandson of the famous comedian Allu Ramalingaiah, nephew of actor Chiranjeevi and cousin of actor Ram Charan. He made his debut in the film industry as a child actor with the 1985 movie ‘Vijetha.’ His first movie in a leading role was ‘Gangotri’ in 2003. Subsequently, between 2003 and 2020, Arjun has done more than 15 movies, most of which were commercially successful including ‘Bunny’ (2005), ‘Happy’ (2006), ‘Desamuduru’ (2007), ‘Badrinath’ (2011), ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ (2017), and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ (2020). As of 2021, he has been conferred with five Filmfare Awards South and three Nandi Awards.
