'Stree 2' plot revolves around a new monster
Stree 2 introduces a new monster, a headless demon named Sarkate, who kidnaps women from Chanderi. The lead cast is tasked with devising a plan to defeat Sarkate. The trailer revealed that this headless monster is the reason Stree turned into an angry spirit haunting men. The film has received a U/A rating and has a runtime of two hours and 29 minutes.
'Stree 2' expected to dominate box office
Stree 2 is set to clash with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa at the box office. However, trade experts predict that Stree 2 will emerge as the biggest winner on Independence Day. "Stree 2 will have a landslide win. It's a one-sided situation. It almost feels like a solo film is releasing," said trade guru Atul Mohan.
'Stree 2' garners impressive advance bookings
Advance bookings for Stree 2 have opened to a positive response, with the film selling 9.7k tickets and earning nearly ₹38 lakh in advance bookings. According to a report by Sacnilk, the film has sold 1,24,402 tickets across India for its first day and has already collected ₹4.09 crore nett in advance sales for Thursday.
