All details of Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas' wedding here
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are all set to get married on December 2, and the couple along with their closed ones will fly to Jodhpur tomorrow, November 29. According to reports, the grand wedding celebrations will begin from Thursday, with a mehendi and sangeet ceremony. The groom Nick is expected to shake a leg to some of Priyanka's hit songs at the wedding.
There will be a haldi ceremony and a cocktail party
On November 30, guests will go to Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace, the venue, for the haldi ceremony. The next day, i.e. on December 1, a cocktail party for both the families and guests has been organized. The couple will exchange vows on December 2. A Christian wedding will be followed by a ceremony as per Hindu rituals, reports said.
Like the couple, the venue is special too
The wedding venue is as unique as the couple. It is said that no rooms are available in the palatial property till December 3. The couple will go to Jodhpur in a chartered plane, and a chopper will take them to the venue later. They will fly out to Delhi on December 4, where they will host a reception. A Mumbai reception will follow.
Following the wedding, there will be two receptions
While the Chopras have fixed Taj Palace Hotel as the venue for the first reception in Delhi, there isn't much clarity on the second one. It could take place in the second week of December. "The jodi will throw a big bash for the film fraternity Mumbai, but they are yet to zero in on a particular date for the same," a source said.
Few friends of the bride have been invited
While it is suggested that the wedding ceremonies won't have a grand guest list, PeeCee's besties Srishti Behl Arya, Mubina Rattonsey and Arpita Khan Sharma, along with hubby Aayush Sharma will attend the wedding. Nick's brother Joe and his bae Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark have already arrived in India. It is reported that PeeCee has invited her colleagues from The Sky Is Pink.
