Jio Filmfare Awards 2018: Complete winners' list
Vidya Balan ('Tumhari Sulu') and Irrfan Khan ('Hindi Medium') were judged the Best Actress/Actor at the 63rd Filmfare Awards 2018, hosted at the NSCI Dome in Mumbai's Worli. The latter also won the Best Popular Film, but for critics, 'Newton' was the best. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari won Best Director for 'Bareilly Ki Barfi.' Fan favorite Rajkumar Rao took two awards, but none for 'Newton.'

Other top winners at the event
For critics, the best actor/actress were Rajkumar Rao ('Trapped') and Zaira Wasim ('Secret Superstar'). Rao also won the Best Supporting Actor for 'Bareilly Ki Barfi,' while Meher Vij took the female honors for 'Secret Superstar.' Konkona Sen Sharma won Best Debut Director for 'A Death In The Gunj.' Amit V. Masurkar took the Best Original Story for 'Newton.'

'Jagga Jasoos' takes home four awards in music
In music, 'Jagga Jasoos' was the clear winner with Best Music Album, Best Background Score, Best Lyrics ('Ullu ka pattha') and Best Choreography ('Galti se mistake'). Arijit Singh ('Roke na ruke naina') and Meghna Mishra ('Nachdi phira') took home the Best Singer awards, Male and Female. Mala Sinha and Bappi Lahiri were honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

These films won the best awards in technical aspects
'Tiger Zinda Hai' got the award for Best Action (Tom Struthers), while 'A Death In The Gunj' had the Best Cinematography (Sirsha Ray). The latter also won for the Best Costume (Rohit Chaturvedi). The Best Editing award went to 'Trapped' (Nitin Baid).
Special awards for short films
Like last year, this time too, there was a special category for short films. Jackie Shroff won Best Actor for 'Khujli,' while Shefali Shah was adjudged the Best Actress for 'Juice.' In fiction, 'Juice' also won the Best Short Film Award. 'Invisible Wings' got the same award in the non-fiction category. 'Anahut' took home the People's Choice Award for Best Short Film.
A glamorous Red Carpet and a thrilling show
The glamorous event was hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Karan Johar joined his friend on stage briefly. There were scintillating performances by Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh and others. The Red Carpet event this time caught everyone's attention: Sonam Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Kajol and Rekha, Miss World Manushi Chillar and other famous celebs appeared in gorgeous outfits.
