    The reports of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor dating each other have been all over the place for the past few weeks.

    Their hand-in-hand appearance at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding reception added more fuel to the rumors.

    Now, for the first time, Alia has reacted to the speculations.

    "We're more than friends…"

    Alia has always remained tight-lipped about her romantic relationships, despite being asked about the same in almost every media interaction.

    However, when she was recently inquired about her equation with Ranbir, she decided to give a prompt reply.

    She said, "You're absolutely right, we're more than friends... We're co-actors. We're working together in a beautiful film called 'Brahmastra' which will release next year."

    Alia is currently riding high on the success of 'Raazi'

    Alia has wooed one an all with her phenomenal performance in her latest release 'Raazi'.

    The Meghna Gulzar directorial is excelling at the box office too.

    In the first three days of its release, the spy-thriller has amassed an impressive Rs. 32.94 crore and has become the fifth highest grosser of 2018.

    On a related note, 'Brahmastra' will release in 2019

    Directed by Ayan Mukerji and bankrolled by Karan Johar, 'Brahmastra' will be a trilogy. The first installment of the big-budgeted action-adventure will hit the screens next year. Apart from Ranbir and Alia, the film also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan and telly star Mouni Roy.
