Riding high on the stupendous success of her latest release 'Raazi', Alia Bhatt has confirmed that she will soon be doing a film with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.
She said she has been meaning to work with the 'Bareily Ki Barfi' director for a long time and is thrilled that her wish is finally coming true.

Alia wants a break from serious movies
Present at an event, Alia said, "I am definitely going to do a film with Ashwiny because she is a fabulous director. The film is sort of confirmed. There will be an official announcement soon."
"They have brought an extremely fun concept to me. I am very excited, as that's going to be my breakaway film from all the serious ones," she added.

Meanwhile, 'Raazi' is inching closer to Rs. 50 crore mark
Meanwhile, the Meghna Gulzar directorial 'Raazi' has exceeded expectations at the box office.
So far, the film has raked in Rs. 45.34 crore and still has a long way to go.
'Raazi' is being regarded as Alia's career-best performance.
The film is based on a novel called 'Calling Sehmat' by Harinder Singh Sikka and also features Vicky Kaushal.
