Alia Bhatt-Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Raazi' crosses Rs. 50 crore mark
After a stupendous opening weekend, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Raazi' is recording excellent numbers on the weekdays as well, a rarity in today's times. The spy-thriller crossed the Rs. 50 crore mark on Wednesday and currently stands at a total of Rs. 51.24 crore. With no major release this Friday, 'Raazi' will continue its splendid run at the box office.

Alia and Vicky garnered rave reviews for their respective performances
Apart from being successful at the ticket windows, 'Raazi' is also the best-reviewed film of 2018, so far. Both the lead actors have garnered rave reviews from the critics and the audience alike. Alia essayed the role of an Indian spy who gets married to a Pakistani army officer, which was played by Vicky.
'Raazi' has been directed by Meghna Gulzar
Based on a novel titled 'Calling Sehmat' by Harinder Sikka, 'Raazi' has been directed by Meghna Gulzar of 'Talvar' fame. Backed by Karan Johar, the film also features Alia's mother Soni Razdan, Amruta Khanvilkar, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajit Kapur, Shishit Sharma among others.
Meanwhile, '102 Not Out' continues its winning streak
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor starrer '102 Not Out' has been holding well at the box office, despite facing stiff competition from 'Raazi'. The Umesh Shukla directorial is currently in its second week and has earned Rs. 40.71 crore to date. The crackling chemistry between Amitabh and Rishi has worked wonders for the film.
