The film is directed by Vasan Balan and co-produced by Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions. It was originally scheduled to hit theaters on September 27. However, to avoid a clash with Jr NTR's Devara: Part 1, the makers have moved the release date to October 11.
