Ali Asgar was molested by drunk-men when dressed as 'dadi'
Molestation is a serious issue that most woman must have faced at some point of time in their lives. But what if a man gets molested by men? Well, that's what happened with comedian Ali Asgar during a wedding in Delhi. The comedian, who is known for his role of Kapil Sharma's dadi, shared his ordeal about being molested by drunk men.
Ali was essaying his role of Dadi on stage
Narrating his ordeal, Ali said that it happened when he was performing as Dadi at the wedding. The comedian had asked the anchor not to announce his name. But this invited trouble for Ali as he was groped by drunk men. "The way they attacked me - they were putting their hands on my chest, they were pinching my butt," Ali told TOI.
Ali was saved by a girl from his team
Ali further stated that while it was difficult for him to get out of the situation, a girl from his team saved him. "I wanted to ask whether they knew it was a man playing the role of a woman. And the second question was - even if you don't know, yeh toh ek buddhi aurat hai na, usko toh chhor do!" he added.
Ali is returning as Chauthi in 'Kanpur Wale Khuranas'
Meanwhile, Ali is set to make a comeback as Chauthi in Sunil Grover's new show Kanpur Wale Khuranas. The show will also feature Upasana Singh and Sugandha Mishra in key roles. Talking about it, Ali said, "This show is like a reunion for us. After The Drama Company and other shows, we are all back together. It's like we are back to school".
