Here's when Akshay first got to know about menstruation
In an attempt to spread awareness about menstruation, Akshay and Twinkle came up with 'PadMan'. But when Akshay was young he had no clue what the word means. He had never even held a pad. "I learnt about menstruation only when I was 19-20. It's only in the last two years that I came to know about it in great detail," he revealed.

Meanwhile, Akshay's 'PadMan' to clash with 'Padmavat'
After a series of controversies, Deepika, Shahid and Ranveer starrer 'Padmavat' is finally releasing on January 25. Co-incidentally, Akshay Kumar starrer 'PadMan' is also releasing on the same day. It will be a clash of biggies in the Republic Day weekend, but Akshay is not fazed by it. It would be really interesting to see two poignant films to battle it out in theatres.
