Akshay Kumar may star in a horror flick next
Akshay Kumar is arguably the most versatile actor in Bollywood. He has been consciously mixing genres so that the audience does not assign him a certain image. Having done a social drama called 'PadMan', he already has four diverse films under his belt - 'Gold', '2.0', 'Kesari' and 'Housefull 4.' Now, the latest reports say that Akshay might do a horror film next.
It will be a remake of a Tamil film
The superstar will reportedly star in the Hindi remake of Tamil horror film, 'Kanchana 2: Ganga.' The 2015 flick was directed by Raghava Lawrence who is expected to helm the Hindi version as well. Akshay will be seen in a double role in the film and will be joined by Taapsee Pannu as the female lead.
He has a massive line up of films
Akshay's last release 'PadMan' may not have set the box office on fire but his upcoming projects are expected to more than make up for it. His next two releases of the year, 'Gold' and '2.0' are being awaited with bated breath by the fans. Also, Khiladi Kumar's maiden war-film 'Kesari' has already created a lot of buzz with its first look.
