It is now Akshay's turn to conquer Chinese box office
Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar are all set to debut in China with their 2017 blockbuster 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha'. The Shree Narayan Singh directorial will release in the neighboring country on June 8 in 4,300 screens. The Chinese version of the film has been titled 'Toilet Hero'. Here are the details.

Taking to Twitter, Akshay wrote, "Delighted that our film #ToiletEkPremKatha is continuing to break new grounds and is all set to release as "Toilet Hero" across 4300 screens in China on 8th June!@psbhumi @ToiletTheFilm @RelianceEnt" Notably, 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha' is Akshay's highest grossing film in India till date.

Fifth Indian film to release in China in 2018
'Toilet Ek Prem Katha' is the fifth Indian film to hit the Chinese screens this year after 'Secret Superstar', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Hindi Medium' and 'Baahubali 2'. China has gradually emerged a lucrative market for Hindi films, courtesy Aamir Khan, and Indian producers are making sure to cash in on the wave.
