Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, actor-producer Vishnu Manchu, and director Mukesh Kumar Singh, along with the rest of the cast and crew attended the event. The film's executive producer Vinay Maheshwari also graced the occasion with his presence.
The teaser offered a glimpse into a historical narrative of devotion, sacrifice, and grandeur.

Directed by Singh and produced by M Mohan Babu, Kannappa promises to enthrall audiences with a mix of traditional storytelling and modern filmmaking techniques.
At the event, Kumar spoke about his initial reluctance to play Lord Shiva in the film.
He said, "At first, I wasn't sure, and I turned down the offer twice. But Vishnu's unwavering belief that I was the right person to bring Lord Shiva to life on the big screen in Indian cinema truly convinced me."

Alongside Kumar, the lead star also expressed his excitement.

'Kannappa' teaser garners attention, film set for April release
Having already created waves at the Cannes Film Festival, the teaser of Kannappa will be out for the public on Saturday, March 1.
The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on April 25, 2025.
With its breathtaking visuals and epic storyline, it is one of the most awaited films of this year.
