Here's why Akshay keeps shuffling genres
Akshay Kumar not only does three to four films per year but also makes sure that the audience is being offered something new each time. That is the reason he did a 'Singh Is Bliing' after a 'Baby' or a 'Housefull 3' after an 'Airlift.' Continuing to maintain this balance, the 'PadMan' actor has now signed 'Housefull 4.'
Akshay's reasoning behind doing all kinds of films
"I don't want the media to typecast me. Earlier, I was trapped with the image of an action hero. People wouldn't accept me in a different avatar. That phase impacted me deeply. That's why I constantly change the kind of films I do," he said.
Akshay's career trajectory proves his versatility
From being labeled an action star to becoming a comic hero, from doing patriotic films to bringing about a change with socially relevant cinema, Akshay has time and again brought something new to the table. He may have failed a few times but that does not affect his diverse choices of films.
His current line up of films is pure 'Gold'
Just having done a social drama - 'PadMan', Akshay's next is a period film called 'Gold.' Post that, he will be seen in Rajinikanth's mega action spectacle '2.0' and then in an out and out comedy - 'Housefull 4.' He is also shooting for Karan Johar's 'Kesari' simultaneously. All the Akshay fans are certainly in for a massive treat.
