#Sooryavanshi: Akshay takes charge as tough cop to fight terrorism
Akshay Kumar, once Bollywood's favorite cop, played an honest police officer in Mohra, a rogue cop in Khakee and a funky policewala in Khiladi 786. And now, he is all set to don the khakee vardi again for Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi, this time for fighting terrorism on screen. The actor today shared two posters to unveil the first look of this cop drama.

Akshay captioned the posters as, "A bullet for a bullet! Get ready for #RohitShetty's #Sooryavanshi on Eid 2020. Action-packed, masala intact". In this film, Akshay will be seen playing the role of ATS chief Veer Sooryavanshi and he looks convincing in posters.

Ranveer, Ajay will have cameos in 'Sooryavanshi'
As was reported earlier, Sooryavanshi will have cameos by Ajay Devgn aka Bajirao Singham and Ranveer Singh aka Sangram Simmba Bhalerao. Both the actors shared the posters for Rohit Shetty's latest directorial and captioned it as, "A Bullet for a Bullet...He's not alone." This was confirmed by a source who said, "It won't be surprising if Ranveer and Ajay reprise their respective roles."

Notably, this will be Akshay's first collaboration with Rohit and the director is excited about the project. In fact, the acclaimed filmmaker stated that he was looking forward to working with Akshay for a while. "I would love to work with him and definitely, we'll come together. Everybody says our combination will be good," Rohit was quoted saying in one of the interviews.
Akshay readies for 'Kesari' release, has three more for 2019
According to media reports, Akshay will begin shooting for Sooryanvanshi in April this year and the movie will release on Eid 2020. Meanwhile, the actor is gearing up for his first release of the year, Kesari, on March 21. Besides, he has three other projects in his kitty for 2019, Housefull 4 (with Kriti Sanon), Good News (with Kareena Kapoor) and Mission Mangal.
