Aug 15, 2019: Release date for Akshay Kumar's 'Mission Mangal'

What's the story

Akshay Kumar's next 'Mission Mangal', which is being touted as India's first space film, will release on August 15, 2019. Akshay is also producing the film via his banner Cape Of Good Films. It'll be made in collaboration with director R Balki and will be directed by Jagan Shakti. It also stars Vidya Balan, Nithya Menen, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, and Sharman Joshi.

'Mission Mangal' to clash with two other Bollywood movies

Apart from Akshay's space film, John Abraham's 'Batla House' is also scheduled to release on Independence Day next year. In addition to this, 'Made in China' featuring Rajkummar Rao is also set to hit the theaters next year on the same day.
