Akshay's 'Bachchan Pandey' first look out, gathers over 19L likes
Akshay Kumar is on the go these days. The superstar, who impressed us in the Mission Mangal trailer, has now announced his next project, Bachchan Pandey. Akshay released the first look of the movie yesterday, while also booking Christmas 2020 slot for its release. Interestingly, Aamir Khan's Lal Singh Chaddha also releases that day. So, some fireworks are certainly expected at the box office.
Drool-worthy physique, teeka on forehead, gold chains, 'Bachchan Pandey' rocks
In the first look, we see the 51-year-old actor showing off his ripped body, while wearing a small black colored lungi. He also sports multiple gold chains around his neck, three-stroked teeka along with vermilion bindi on his forehead. The Rowdy Rathore actor is also holding nunchucks in his right hand, dropping hints that this will be a hardcore action-masala entertainer for the audiences.

Akshay's next is a remake of Tamil film 'Veeram'
Speaking on the same, a source reportedly told an entertainment portal, "It is entertaining and extremely massy. While there are many social dramas he's known for, this will be in a completely Rowdy Rathore space. It's a fun potboiler where Akki will playing to the plexes." Notably, Bachchan Pandey is a remake of 2014 Tamil film Veeram, which featured superstar Ajith and Tamannaah Bhatia.
Three stars to clash at box office on Christmas 2020
Coming to the clash, this flick of Akshay will be releasing alongside films of Aamir and Ajay Devgn. To note, Aamir, on his 54th birthday this year, announced that his next movie Lal Singh Chaddha will also hit theatres on Christmas 2020. On the other hand, director Luv Ranjan is also coming up with his next, having Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor in lead.
This year, Akshay will have three big releases
Meanwhile, Akshay is looking forward to three big releases this year. The PadMan actor will be seen in Mission Mangal, Good News and Housefull 4 in 2019. Besides, he is also working on Rohit Shetty's cop drama Sooryavanshi and Raghava Lawrence's Lakshmi Bomb.
