Akshay Kumar begins 'The Entertainers' tour with Atlanta's houseful show
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar had a disappointing start to 2023, thanks to his latest release Selfiee, which failed to impress audiences. Despite this setback, Kumar gathered all the energy to entertain his fans in the world tour titled The Entertainers, which will begin on Saturday in Atlanta. As reported by Pinkvilla, it's a houseful show for the live concert in the US.

The tour consists of a star-packed team of Disha Patani, Mouni Roy, Nora Fatehi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Sonam Bajwa. It is important to note that Khiladi Kumar became a part of a tour after almost two decades and fans were eagerly waiting to see his enthralling live performance. For this, he has been rehearsing rigorously for over a month with the aforementioned actors.
'The Entertainers' tickets were in high demand
As per the report, the first show in Atlanta is already houseful and in fact, there is more demand for tickets among the citizens around the venue. Himanshu Garg, the national promoter of The Entertainers also confirmed that "the tour will begin with a bang." Kumar along with his team reached Atlanta on Wednesday, where he received a warm welcome ahead of the tour.

"It is one of the largest Bollywood events," elaborated Garg while claiming that the huge demand for the tickets is due to Kumar, who is performing live after a long time. Reportedly, he said, "As a national promotor, I am humbled to say that the Atlanta Show, which is the kick-off, is completely sold out. I think it has been immensely welcomed by America."

For the unversed, The Entertainers, commencing on Saturday, will cover four major US cities namely Atlanta, Dallas, Orlando, and Oakland. The team was supposed to perform live in New Jersey too, but the show got canceled, reportedly, due to "slow sales of tickets." Apart from the star-studded performers, actor-singer Khurana and Jasleen Royal will join the group toward the end of the tour.

On the professional front, the 55-year-old actor was last seen in Raj Mehta's directorial Selfiee, which also featured Emraan Hashmi in the lead role. Apart from this, the actor has a bunch of projects in his kitty including the sequel of 2012's blockbuster hit OMG and Capsule Gill. Besides, he will share the screen with Tiger Shroff in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
