Akshay auctions 'Rustom' uniform to raise funds for animal welfare
Whether is it through his films or his actions in real life, Akshay Kumar strives to bring about a positive change in the society. This time, the superstar has decided to support the cause of animal rescue and welfare. He has put up his 'Rustom' uniform for auction and will donate the proceeds to an NGO called Janice's Trust.
From Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 2.5 crore and counting
The auction is being conducted by SaltScout, a fund-raising platform based in Mumbai. The bidding started at Rs. 20,000 and has shot up to Rs. 2.5 crore. Akshay and his wife Twinkle Khanna informed their fans about the auction through a tweet. Post Akshay's attire, Hrithik Roshan's 'Krrish' jacket and Anushka Sharma's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' kurta will be up for grabs.
