Business tycoon Mukesh Ambani's eldest son Akash is taking his nuptial vows with fiancee Shloka Mehta on March 9, and celebrations have already begun. For example, yesterday, the Ambanis hosted a week-long Anna Seva ceremony, where they served dinner to around 2,000 children. Amid these festivities, a video of Akash has surfaced online where he's seen confessing his love for Shloka.
Anna Seva will continue till March 13 in children homes
Notably, Anna Seva ceremony forms an important pre-wedding ritual of the Ambani family. Reportedly, this seva will continue till March 13 in all the orphanages and old age homes in the city. The soon-to-married couple was also seen taking part in this event, and that's when we saw a glimpse of Akash's feelings for Shloka. It happened precisely when the paps clicked their pictures.
What did Akash say when asked for a solo pose
While clicking photographs, Akash, dressed in teal green colored kurta with Nehru jacket, asked photographers to capture Shloka's smile properly as she gets nervous around cameras. That's not all. When Akash was asked for a solo pose, he quipped, "Shaadi ho raha hai. Birthday nahi hai. Do body, ek soul ho gaya hai (We're getting married and are now two bodies and one soul)."

Shloka to have her mehendi today at the Dome
Coming back to the wedding ceremonies, mala and mehendi rituals will be hosted today. Reportedly, the ceremonies will be taking place at the Dome, NSCI, overlooking the Worli Seaface and the Haji Ali Dargah, in the evening today. Given the fact that Ambanis love doing everything in the most lavish manner, it is expected that Shloka's mehendi ceremony will also be a gala affair.
Maroon 5 to charge a whopping amount from Ambanis?
The mehendi ceremony will be followed by a grand sangeet night for Akash and Shloka. According to media reports, popular American rock band Maroon 5 will be performing at this event. The reports further suggested that the band of singer Adam Levine will be giving a 40-minute performance. It is also speculated that Maroon 5 will be charging a whopping amount for their gig.
Akash-Shloka's wedding ceremonies will be a three day affair
Meanwhile, the couple will tie the knot in an opulent ceremony on March 9. The wedding will be hosted at Jio World Center. This will be followed by Mangal Parv on March 10, which will mark the end of wedding rituals. The newlyweds will then host a grand wedding reception on March 11, which will be attended by Bollywood who's who.
